The Invest Cidades Program (Invest Cities) provides municipalities in Paraná with a self-assessment guide highlighting their strengths and regional vocations or sectors they aim to develop.

With this approach, the program helps municipalities formulate an investment attraction plan focused on local opportunities, improving the business environment, enhancing investment appeal, and ensuring investor confidence.

How We Help Municipalities Become More Attractive

We identify sectoral bottlenecks, available resources, demographic conditions, local market dynamics, raw material availability, labor supply and skills, as well as potential and limiting aspects.
We identify best practices already implemented by other municipalities and share them to be replicated by partner cities.
We connect local leaders to amplify results.
We promote municipal marketing strategies.

How the Program Works

1.

Expression of Interest: The municipality expresses its interest in joining the Invest Cities program.

2.

Initial Meeting: A preliminary meeting is held between representatives of the Economic Development Board at Invest Paraná and the interested municipality.

3.

Workshop: Invest Paraná conducts a workshop in the interested municipality to present the program and the work of the state’s investment attraction agency.

4.

Technical Cooperation Agreement: Invest Paraná and the municipality formalize a Technical Cooperation Agreement.

5.

Data Collection: The municipality collects data and fills out the form provided by Invest Paraná.

6.

Technical Report: After reviewing and analyzing the data, Invest Paraná delivers a Technical Report with recommendations on how to enhance investment appeal in the municipality.

Mayors and Secretaries of Economic Development, Industry and Commerce, Planning, and Administration, depending on the structure of each municipality.
