The Nossos Parques project, developed by Invest Paraná through a partnership with the Water and Land Institute (IAT), brings the Sustainable Regional Vocations (VRS) methodology to ten Conservation Units in the state.
The initiative targets local entrepreneurs, rural producers, artisans, and community leaders, with an emphasis on women, youth, and traditional peoples and communities who live around the parks. It aims to strengthen their activities and promote the sustainable use of natural resources.

Our Products
The Nossos Parques project brings together a set of actions that connect people with the state parks and strengthen sustainable development in the regions where they are located. The planned outcomes aim to promote the responsible use of these spaces, highlight local experiences, and showcase the state’s natural and cultural beauties. These actions are organized into three main fronts, which together shape the project:
They aim to plan how people can visit and enjoy the parks sustainably. They help organize trails, spaces, and activities, ensuring that tourism takes place without harming the environment and involving local communities in the process.
It creates a route that connects the parks and their surrounding regions through unique experiences linked to nature, culture, and local history. The idea is to highlight what makes each place special and generate opportunities for those living near the conservation units.
It promotes the parks and experiences in an accessible and attractive way. It brings together videos, photos, and campaigns that showcase the potential of each location, encouraging responsible tourism and the recognition of Paraná’s natural and cultural wealth.

SDGs
The Nossos Parques project is directly linked to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as it seeks to balance care for nature with the well-being of people living near the state parks. In practice, this means creating job and income opportunities (SDGs 1 and 8), valuing environmental education and local knowledge (SDG 4), encouraging the responsible use of natural resources (SDG 12), and promoting biodiversity conservation (SDG 15). Additionally, the project fosters partnerships between government, community, and the private sector (SDG 17), recognizes the importance of cultural and ethnic diversity (SDGs 18 and 19), and gives a voice to traditional and indigenous peoples (SDG 20). In this way, Nossos Parques transforms the SDGs into concrete actions that strengthen communities and make development fairer and more sustainable for all.
